Refer to General Requirements > Measuring and Planning > Layout and Trimming section of this document.  To ensure straight-square installations, apply at least two perpendicular chalk lines onto the substrate (at a 90 degree angle to each other). These chalk lines should extend the entire length and width of the area to be covered.  A laser line can also be utilized for this purpose.  The location and intersection point of the chalk lines should be determined to achieve the design intent and reduce waste.

 

NOTE:  The intersection point mentioned above may or may not be in the center of a room in order to achieve the design intent.
